He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dalton Payne and Bessie Mae Modlin Payne. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Polson Payne; his daughter Megan Kathryn Payne Everett (Lewis); his grandchildren, Logan Kathryn Everett and Sawyer Lewis Everett; his brothers, Paul Payne (Emily) of Mississippi and Roy; his sister-in-law Jerilyn Polson; and his caregivers, Vickey Beale and Pat. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
