He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Royal Johnson and Carrie Maude Spivey Johnson; and his siblings, Berta J. Smith, Nellie J. Britt and James H. Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert E. Johnson, Jr. (Jennifer) of Black Creek and David Wayne Johnson (Christine) of King William; his sister Edna Story of Handsom; his grandchildren, Tiffany Johnson, Billy Johnson, Brittany Maffei (Jacob) and Donna Johnson; and his great grandchild Carter Maffei.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
