He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Jones and Cora Anne Morgan Blythe; and his brother Billy Douglas Jones. He is survived by: his children, Samantha Jones (J. R. Duck) and Matthew Jones (Christina); his girlfriend Shari Lassiter; his girlfriend's children, Kendal Lassiter (Courtney) and Travis Lassiter (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Cora Jones, Sadie-Jo Duck and Jacey Duck.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
