He is survived by: his birth mother Lula Agnes Edwards Vaughan; his wife Eugenia "Jean" Gaultress Vaughan; his daughter Constance "Connie" Lankford Cornwell; his grandchildren, Aubrey Paul Lankford, Jr. (Terri), Jenny Lankford Owen (Tommy), William Dale Cornwell (Amber) and Adam Christian Cornwell (Tonya); his great grandchildren, Asher John Owen, Avett Cole Lankford, William Isaiah Cornwell, Sidney Kai Cornwell, Christian Elle Cornwell and Cheyanne Carol Cornwell; and his siblings, Katherine Vaughan McWaters (Cliff), Melodie Vaughan Beghtol, Reginald Thomas Vaughan, Sr. (Myrtis), Darden Wrenn Vaughan (Virginia) and Jack Hart Vaughan (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
