Sarah Louise Russell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Louise Russell (Franklin, Virginia), who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oliver and Allie B. Russell (Gray); and her siblings, Barbara Ann Johnson, Emmitt "Bobby" Gray, Alfred Gray and Milton Russell.

She is survived by: her sister Shirlean Hardy of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her niece Anjanette Murphy of Clayton, NC; her nephew Tre'Von Lowe of Raleigh, NC; and her siblings, Hannah Jenkins (Ed Jenkins) of King George, VA, Dorothy Alexander of Waterbury, CT, Fannie Bell Jones of Norfolk, VA, Samuel Russell of Franklin, VA, Thomas Russell (Jessie) of Portsmouth, VA and Ann Manley-Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and loyal friends.

She loved and supported her church faithfully until Covid-19 interrupted in-person worship.
