He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Joseph Piersa, Sr. and Annie Marie Groski Piersa; and his siblings, Martha Jackson and Chester "Joey" Piersa, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Janet Mincher Piersa; his children, Shelia Davis (David) and Stanley Piersa, Jr. (Angela); his brothers, Larry Piersa (Teresa) and Billy Piersa (Sharon); his former wife Linda Parker; his grandchildren, Kevin Davis (Chris), Ashley Davis (Justin), Garrett Piersa (David), Makenzie Piersa (Crosby), James Chastain (Desiree) and Austin Chastain (Alex); and his best girls, Hope and Faith.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Congregational Christian Church.
