He was predeceased by: his parents, Norfleet Joseph "Bud" White and Dorothy Brinkley White; his sister Elizabeth White; his daughter Lynette White; his granddaughter Tabitha D. White; and his son-in-law Larry Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Young White; his children, Jimmy Cushing (Lorie) and Cherene Shaffer; his grandchildren, Daniel Barrow (Jordan), Teri Joyner (Deke), Lauren Martinez (David), Samantha Mostoller (Austin), Chase Shaffer, Kimberly Shaffer, Shelby Shaffer and Landon Cushing; and his great grandchildren, Makayla Barrow, Brodie Sines, Corbin Joyner, Emeri Joyner, Birdie Martinez and Emory Davis.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made The Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters (CHKD) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
