She was predeceased by: her parents, Jones Marshall and Virginia Marshall; her husband William "Bill" Bailey; and her son-in-law Earl Gunn. She is survived by: her children, Susan Gunn (Robbie), William Bailey, Jr. (Vanessa), Keith Bailey (Sheila) and Brad Bailey (Dan); her grandchildren, April Overton (Jesse), Kevin Gunn (Erin), Crystal Brownfield (John) and Sarah Leach (Caleb); and her siblings, Mildred Branche (Gilbert), Mary Porter (L. F.), Jones Marshall, John Marshall (Nina) and William Marshall (Melinda). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at 1401 N High St, Franklin, VA 23851.
The family will receive friends at The Village at Woods Edge following the graveside service and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, Attn: Donor Services, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
