He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Floyd and Margie Waggy (Phares); his siblings, Jimmie, Richard, Harold Waggy, Ruby Kimble, Hazel Harper and Rozelva Waggy; and his close friend Earl L. "Ub" Huffman.
He is survived by: his spouse Rettie Mae Waggy (Huffman); his sons, David Waggy (Lois) of Franklin, WV and Steve Waggy (Lisa Warner) of Franklin, WV; his grandchildren, Julie Waggy Mallow (Bill) of Upper Tract, WV, William Waggy (Heidi) of Franklin, WV and Amelia Huffman (Jordan) of Franklin, WV; and his great grandchildren, Laban and Hardin Huffman.
