She is survived by: her significant other Moses C. Brooks of Northumberland County; her children, Sharon Darnell Brooks Hodge of Atlanta, Georgia and John Moses Brooks (Jenna) of Stafford, Virginia; her grandchildren, Desiree F. Liggan, Rachael A. Liggan, Ariel L. Jipping, Cameron B. Hodge, John M. "Jack" Brooks, Jr. and Jordan S. Brooks; and her great grandchildren, Felicity and Clarissa Jipping. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (525 Princess Anne St, Fredericksburg, VA 22401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A repast will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
