She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mallin and Nannie "Mae" Carter; her stepfather John "Tom" Carter; and her husband Clarence "Boyd" Wisdom, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Wisdom (Tammy) and Kelly Paterino (Dominic); her grandchildren, Michael Hobbs, Olivia Wisdom and Samuel Paterino; her siblings, Mark Mallin (Alana), Gail Woodward (Woody) and Karen Jenkins; and her stepsiblings, Darlene White (Bob) and Charles Carter (Cheryl).
