She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Torkelson and Lily Torkelson (Anderson) of Trail, Minnesota.; and her brothers, Paul, Duane and Leslie.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her daughter Darcie (Jason); her grandchildren, Elise and Anja; and her sisters, Edith and Margaret. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Services (420 N Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Mary Washington Hospice in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
