She is survived by: her children, Linda Gayle (David Gayle), Gary Lee Cooper, Valerie Lynne Martin (Paul Martin) and Sharon Cooper Shelton (Gregory Shelton); and her grandchildren, Amy Smith, Beth Reed, Cara Hawkins, Megan Boutchyard, Christina Cooper, Margo Cooper, Kim Smith, Brandon Cooper, Karstin Shelton Carter, Justin Shelton, Jorden Shelton and Matthew Gayle. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Covenant Funeral Service (10830 Patriot Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the White Oak Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (55 217 George, Fredericksburg, VA 22405).
