She is survived by: her daughters, Susan L Ellis and Beth A Lawanson (Sammy); her grandchildren, Treyger Lawanson, Samuel Lawanson III and Arianna Lawanson; and her sister Leora Dobbs. She is also survived by many extended family members and close friends.
