With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George F. Thomas Sr. of Fredericksburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may George find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Ellen Thomas; his parents, Charlie Thomas and Mary Carter Morgan; and his brother Charles Carter. He is survived by: his son George F. Thomas, Jr. (Mildred); his grandson Zachary T. Thomas (Britney); and his siblings, Betty Newsome, Nancy Johnson, Mary Elizabeth Wine and John Cole Thomas. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
