Hattie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Hattie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her sister Gladys. She is survived by: her children, Doris Viney of Spotsylvania, VA. and William, Jr. (Ritchie) of King George, VA.; her grandson Marcus Viney; her brothers, John, Ernest, Robert and William Coleman; and her sisters-in-law, Ethel, Willa Mae and Estell.

Viewing will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Hope Baptist Church (6823 Harrison Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
