She is survived by: her siblings, Doreen Thompson, Syvilla Morris, Calmeta Sturge-Dore and Wicklyn Sturge; and her children, Joycelyn Whindleton (Joyce), Wilfred Walters, James Walters (Wenty), Marilyn Grey, Ingrid Walters (Norma), Kathleen Joseph, Cynthia Washington (Cyntie), Gwendolynn Pruitt (Gwen) and Samuel Walters Jr. (Junie). She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
