He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Burge and Bessie Lawson Burge; and his brothers, Paul Burge (Margaret) and Lloyd Burge. He is survived by: his wife Mary Epperson Burge; his daughters, Ginni Burge, Erica Tanner (Wade) and Amanda Meade (Tom); his grandchildren, Averianna, Tucker, Aidareece Phillips, Jonah, Lydia, Jude, Eden Tanner, Hannah, Thomas and Cora Meade; his sister-in-law Regina Burge; and his nieces and nephews, Jerry, Randy Burge, Sharon McGraw and Teresa Dodson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory (31440 Constitution Hwy, Locust Grove, VA 22508). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
