She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde W. Wetherington and Joyce T. Wetherington; and her brother Bryce Wetherington. She is survived by: her husband Finbarr O'Connell; her children, Brent O'Connell (Laura) and Megan Williams (Michael); her grandsons, Riley and Jaxon; and her siblings, Allan (Linda), Rodney (Christine), Wade, Kimball (Robin), Gay (Dan), Jana, Lynn (Lois) and Nancy (Lisette). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation made in her memory to the Richmond Club of the Deaf.
