We announce the death of Larry Dean Roath (Fredericksburg, Virginia), who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 87. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Roath (Saunders) and Leo Roath. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Witmyer Roath; his daughters, Barbara VanSchoor (Rick), Susan Milwit and Cindy Brown (Joe); his stepsons, Chip Knappenberger (Jenny) and Tim Knappenberger; his grandchildren, Allison, Aaron, Molly, Andrew, Jocelyn, Olivia, Presley, Mick and Lexi; and his great grandchild Evelyn.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg (10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407).
