She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby; and her daughter Anita E. T. Walker. She is survived by: her children, Barbara L. Lewis and Robert L. Townsend II; her grandchildren, Gerald D. Lewis Jr. (Jerry), Jamelle Maxwell (Gary Maxwell) and Desireé A. Lewis (Desi); her great grandchildren, Dylan C. Lewis and Celeste Maxwell; and her pets, Bruce and Charlie. She is also survived by "Mema".
