He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Surfer and Edith Surfer; his sister Sandra Brachfeld; and his great grandchild Makenzie Istre. He is survived by: his wife Shelley Surfer; his daughters, Margie Walsh (Bill), Angela Bareford (Darryl) and Debra Istre (James); his grandchildren, Madison, Bryan (ReAnne), Caitlyn (Josh), Kyle, Cody (Chelsea), Nathan (Alicia), Bailey (Jolie) and Rebecca (Keith); and his great grandchildren, Jamiolette, Kaylynn, Lybertie, Annabelle and Sophia.
