He was predeceased by: his parent Veronica Young; his grandmother Mary Helen Tucker; and his son Michael Darnell Tucker Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Rochelle, Renee, Regina and John; his daughter LaShaun; his children-in-law, Bruce and Shayzan; his grandchildren, Bruce, Melvin, GeShon, Antonio, Aviel, Sirae and Shaylen; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Amoura. He is also survived by Extended Family: Five nephews, one niece, and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and dear friends.
