She was predeceased by: her son Richard Lyon, Jr.; her parents, William Blair Long and Rose Alberta Thompson Long; and the father of her children James Richard Lyon, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Rosemary Lyon of Latrobe, PA, Linda Lyon Parker (Kerry) of Alexandria, VA, Patricia Lyon (PJ), Sharon James of Mayking, KY and Janet Lyon of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Jesse Lyon (Bubba), Kasey Lyon Hatcher (Trey), Aaron Mauck (Paige), Holden James and Jarrett Patterson (Juliana); her great grandchildren, Jackon, Easton, Savannah and Delilah Hatcher; her sister Helene Farrall of Bushwood, MD; her sister-in-law Mary Jean Lyon of Bethesda, MD; her cousin Brenda Lyon Gardiner; and her close friend Thomas Harold Rice of Interlaken, NY.. She is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
