She was predeceased by: her parents, Hughie Dye and Kathie Dye; her husband William P. Smith; her son William P. Smith, Jr.; her granddaughter Lisa D. Sininger; her siblings, Aubrey Dye, Myron Dye, Ervin Dye, Lambert Dye, Archie Dye, Audrey Mason and Leathie Maxfield; and her half-sisters, Margaret Boutchyard, Helen Heflin, Katherine Rodgers and Louise Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Lynn Smith; her great grandchildren, Jacob Tony Sininger and Nicholas Tony Sininger; and her sister Clara Payne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
