Pearlean Cook Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearlean Cook (Fredericksburg, Virginia), who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rayfield Barnett and Geneva B. Barnett; her significant other Norman Cook; her mother-in-law Mary Cook; her brothers, Curtis Barnett and Raymond Barnett; and her children, Duane Wilson and Marlo Brown-Carpenter.

She is survived by: her children, Wilbert Barnett, Ronnie Barnett (Betty), Marsha Hawkins-Tyler (Nick), Harvey Lee Wilson, Jr. and Mary Wilson (Jesse); her sister-in-law Edith Washington; and her aunts, Williamae White, Lorraine Alsop and Estelle Strother. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
