He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Beard; his sons, Eric R. Beard (Norah) and Adam R. Beard (Morgan); his grandson Thomas B. Beard; his pet Duncan; and his siblings, Vernon Beard, Sr. (Beverly), Dawn Hoert (Dan) and Samuel Beard. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapels & Cremation Service (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at the Culpeper National Cemetery (501 E Chandler St, Culpeper, VA 22701).
