He is survived by: his wife Betty Newsome; his daughters, Cynthia Sizemore Dejnozka (David) of Richmond and Rebecca Sizemore Arnold (Jeff) of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Thomas, Samuel, Sarah Katherine Dejnozka, Rachel and Jacob Arnold; his brother-in-law Stephen Newsome; and his mother-in-law Florine Newsome. He is also survived by nephews, great-nephews, and a great-niece.
