It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Paige Welborn of Fredericksburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Woodrow Welborn, Jr. and Birdie Mae Holloway; his sons, James and John Welborn; and his siblings, Thomas Welborn, Ernest Welborn, John Welborn, David Welborn, Carl Wayne Welborn and Birdie Louise Larner.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his grandchildren, Lauren (James), Kandace, Krista (Jeremy), Ryan (Hannah), Kimber and Violet; his great grandchildren, Connor, Makayah, Kaiden, Kensley and Gianna; his siblings, Jim Welborn (Bertie), Michael Welborn (Yvonne), Martha Faye Brown and Shannon Hayden (Raymond); Jennifer (Jamie), Robert (Angel), Christopher (Misty), Jeremy (Holly) and Thomas. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
