She was predeceased by: her parents, John McAlister and Inez McAlister; her brother Cephus; her husband Earl E. Whittaker Sr.; and her granddaughters, Carley and Abigail Whittaker.
She is survived by: her cousin Jake Thomas; her children, Debbie Bourne (Lin) and Earl Whittaker Jr.; her grandchildren, Ashley Bourne-Richardson (Todd) and Nathan Bourne; and her great grandchild Colin Bourne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and beloved in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Roberta.
