It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Kidd Garner of Fredericksburg, Virginia, born in Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Kenneth R. Kulp; and her siblings, Virginia Hicks, Mary Senger, Louise Cox (Kitty), Edith Truslow, William Kidd and Charles Kidd.
She is survived by: her son Robert C. Scott, Jr. (Janet); her daughter-in-law Denise Kulp; her sisters, Annie Mae Jones and Emma Sue Boutchyard; her grandchildren, Melissa, Jennifer, Jessica, Savannah, Jesse, Michelle and Brandy; and her caregivers, Cindy Spurlin, Kendra James and Deena Self. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
