She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shipley and Mae Shipley. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her sons, Christopher Lee (Lyndsey) and Brian Lee (Caitlyn); and her grandchildren, Robby, Jack, Matthew, Rebekah, Isaac, Mary-Grace and Andrew.
A burial was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel (1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22401).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association (Donorservices.alz.org).
