He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Donna Burkhalter (Jermaine), LaTanya Burkhalter (Damien), Diane Allen, Charlotte Leach, Alisha Chinault (Danny), Nancy Resendez, Steve Burkhalter (Eva), Sandy Warren, Ruth Howard (Eddie), Thomas Burkhalter (Robin), Brenda Frankart (Darren) and Kenny Burkhalter (Denise); his grandchildren, Jaycen Burkhalter, Destiny Lewis, Derrick Lewis, Mike Lewis (Nina), Jon Samuels, Aliyah "Lucy" Francis (Roshawn), Brittany Leach, Kirstin Leach, Brandon Leach, Colin Leach, Connor Chinault, Caden Chinault and Carson Chinault; and his great grandchildren, Luna Lewis, Khari Thomas, Jahzelle Samuels, Kamari Francis, Kannon Francis, Kali Francis, Kru Francis and Conway Palmer.
