Vivian leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Vivian’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Vivian will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver Kenneth West; and her daughter Katherine West. She is survived by: her son David West of Spotsylvania; and her granddaughters, Sara Weinsheimer of Spotsylvania and Amanda Traugutt of Stafford.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg (10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Monticello Memory Gardens (670 Thomas Jefferson Pkwy, Charlottesville, VA 22902).
In lieu of flowers, Vivian's family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Fredericksburg Baptist Church, 1019 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
