He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Crystal Ervin House; and his brother Frankie Ervin. He is survived by: his wife Annie Ervin; his children, Steve Ervin (Mary), Ricky Ervin (Vicky) and Cheryl Ballance (Gary); his grandchildren, Brittany Ervin, Robert Ballance, Roger Ballance and Theresa Ervin (Jason House); his great grandchildren, Jennifer Ballance, Erin Ballance and Ryan Ballance; his brother Guy Ervin (Vicki); and his sister-in-law Lynda Ervin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (303 S Halifax Rd, Jarratt, VA 23867). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
