We are sad to announce that, on March 17, 2025, at the age of 92, Betty Caudell Hawks of Fries, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Ellen Carrico Caudell; her husband Edgar P. Hawks; her brothers, Willard Eugene "Sonny" Caudell and Raymond "Phipps" Caudell; and her cousin Patsy Bedwell.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Hawks Davis of Fries, Karen Hawks Haase (Matt), Alan "Hawkeye" (Rita Hawks) and Bill Davis of Fries, VA.; her grandchildren, Brad Hawks, Mallory of Galax, VA, Brandon Davis, Paola Barrios of Fries, VA and Kristen Davis of Fries, VA.; her great grandchildren, Rylee, Emmy Hawks, Aubree, John Meek, Mia Davis and Lainey Davis (Kristen); her brother David "Chub" Caudell; her sister-in-law Pat Caudell; her niece Nancy Woodard; and her close friends, Delores Graham, Dawn Patton and Grandbunny Miracle Haase.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Fries Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad in memory of Betty.
