He is survived by : his daughters, Tasha Dickson of Hillsville, Virginia and Shanta Dickson of Fries, Virginia; his grandchild Maddy Melton; his daughters, Mirayah Dickson, MJ Harris and River Caudill; and his siblings, Mary Ann (Donald Taylor), Betty Monahan of Ivanhoe, Virginia, Louise (Virgil Moore), Nancy (Jerry Vaughan), Charles (Joyce Dickson) and Johnny (Karen Dickson). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
