He is survived by: his wife Debora of Fries; his children, Jennifer Place (Joe) of Brooksville, Jonathan Barnhill (Amy) of China Grove and Darrow Jones of Columbia; his grandchildren, Brittany, Taylor, Jordan, Michael, Skylar, Madison of Alexus, A. J., Bentley and Tucker; his great grandchildren, Addyson, Easton, Benjamin, Stevie, Jaxson and Mia; and his aunts, Wanda Mays (Bob) of Galax, VA and Katie Dalton (David) of Hillsville, VA. He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Endless Possibilities Church (627 Glendale Rd, Galax, VA 24333).
