He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Fortner and Ruby Moncus Fortner; and his brothers, Delane Todd, Curtis Todd and Carl Todd.
He is survived by: his fiancée Mary Largen; his sister Ethelene; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Arrington, Diane Todd, Pat Todd and Blanch "Bunny" Todd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
