She is survived by: her husband Montie Lewis Horton of Fries, Virginia; her son Michael Lewis; her daughter-in-law Tammy Horton of Independence, Virginia; her sister Glenda "DeeDee"; her brother-in-law Steve Kennedy of Galax, Virginia; and her granddaughters, Chelsea Horton (Micah Robinette), Kendra (Gavin Phipps) and Emily Horton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
