With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Ann Bond Griffin of Fries, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley Ann left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Bond Sr. and Clarice Smith Bond; her husband Wayne Griffin; the father of her children Alger Taylor; her daughter Michelle Fay; and her siblings, Linda Byrd and Jerry Bond.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melany Taylor (Jadd Murphy) and Melinda Hall (Ronald); her granddaughters, Natalie Arduin (Kelly Wilmore), Jessica Houser (Jeremy), Brittany Hall and Danielle Hall (Zachary Free); her great grandchildren, Kamrin Arduin, Smith Houser and Nixon Houser; and her siblings, Darlene Rowland, Helen Lyons (Roger) and Junior Bond. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Church (10 Liberty Hill Rd, Fries, VA 24330).
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to either the Mt. Olivet Church or Endless Possibilities Church.
