It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Mae Jackson (Front Royal, Virginia), who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Donald Franklin and Phyllis Thornton Williams; her stepmother Lillian B. Williams; her husband Freddie; her daughter Constance; her siblings, Clarence, Freddy, Paul, Pearl, Selma and Mildred (Millie); and her son William Robert Jackson (Bobby).
She is survived by: her friend Anna Mae Williams Jackson; her sisters, Rev. Frances Stewart, Cecil Williams (Benny) of Deplane, VA, Janice Tyler (Norris) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Bernice Washington (James) of Richmond, VA; her children, Brenda Jackson of Strasburg, VA, Wanda Jackson of Randallstown, MD and Gerald Jackson of Middletown, VA; and her grandchildren, Richard D. Jackson (Teresa), Michael Jackson (Tracy), Ronda L. Cox and Geraldine D. Canunag (Ian). She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stover Funeral Home and Crematory (177 N Holliday St, Strasburg, VA 22657). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Esbie Baptist Church (611 Ash St, Strasburg, VA 22657). A burial was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Good Hope Cemetery (831 Happy Creek Rd, Front Royal, VA 22630).
