She was predeceased by: her father Morris Russell; her siblings, James, Robert, Paul, Francis, William, Hatchett, Roger, Bruce Brooks and Camilla DeNeal; her husband McKinley "Mac" Matthews; and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Oliver and William Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony McKinley Matthews (Brenda) of Front Royal and June L. Matthews of Front Royal; her grandson Jamie C. Matthews of Front Royal; and her brother-in-law John T. Matthews of Front Royal.
