She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Atwood and Bertha Beatty Atwood. She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Castle (David) of Winchester; her sisters, Cindy Cabiao (Ben) of Virginia Beach and Kay Boger (Wayne) of Williamsburg; and her granddaughter Ashlynn Dowdy of Winchester.
