With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah A. Lawson of Front Royal, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Douglas and Bernice I. Cain; and her sister Kelly Cain. She is survived by: her husband Duane Lawson; her daughters, Christie Lawson (Donny Roop) of Front Royal and Kimberly Clark (Gary) of Front Royal; her brothers, Michael Cain (Kathy) of Leesburg and Kevin Cain (Lora) of Reston; her grandchildren, Sierra Mallicoat (Caleb), Ethan Hunt, Carissa Thompson and Grace Clark; her great grandchild Melody Ann Mallicoat; and her pet Joey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maddox Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Front Royal, VA 22630). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
