In the vast expanse of eternity, Donna shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donna farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ellsworth and Dolly Sylvia Nicholson Merchant; and her sister Dorinda Merchant. She is survived by: her close friend Christopher Tomlinson; her daughters, Courtney Barnhart of Front Royal and Lindsay Barnhart of Front Royal; her siblings, Darryl Merchant of Front Royal, Darlene Hunter (Ken) of Denver and Dalina Merchant of Baton Rouge, LA; her stepdaughter Ashley Pion Tomlinson; and her stepgrandson Zachary. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
