Eugene Franklin Mills Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Franklin Mills of Front Royal, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Preston Mills Jr. and Margaret Ann Hoffman Mills; and his grandson Damien Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Dorcas Laing Mills; his children, Jason Mills (Melissa), Charles Tanner (Tina) and Melinda Tanner Franklin (Teddy); his siblings, Kenny Mills, Jane Mills Dawson, Wayne Mills, Raymond Mills and Karen Mills Bright; his grandchildren, Katlyn Mills (Lex), Eli Eugene Mills, Chris Blake (Kim), Keith Blake, Stephan Tanner (Casey), Rhiannon Tanner Chadwick (Kalvin) and Sebastion Tanner; his great grandchildren, Preston Gochenour, Ethan Tanner, Landon Tanner, Adrian Tanner, KaliAnne Chadwick, Everleigh Chadwick, Willow Tanner, Drewbella Blake, Sydney Blake, Adelyn Blake, Jaxton Blake and Alexis Blake; his sister-in-law Debbie Mills; and his niece Elizabeth Miller. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maddox Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Front Royal, VA 22630). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
