She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Parks and Vivian Rich Parks; and her husband Douglas Eugene Soaper. She is survived by: her children, Norman Douglas Soaper (Abby) of Linden, Virginia, Threasa Thompson (Ronald) of Ashburn, Eugenia Baker (Mark) of Linden, Sharon Weiss (Kyle) of Montross, Karen Zopp (Todd) of Front Royal and Angela "Angie" Dickerson (Chris) of Linden; her siblings, Carl Parks of Luray, William "Dougie" Parks of Tennessee, Shelby Harrison of Chantilly, Regina Cassell of Amissville, Carol Furr of Unison and Valerie Brown of Front Royal; her grandchildren, John, Jeremy, Molly, Matthew, Thomas, Sara, Lauren, Brandon, Rachel, Chloe and Brett; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Carley, Hunter, MacKenzie, Bryson and Josie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
