She was predeceased by: her parents, George Newton and Velma Ione Baggarly Grove; and her husband Billy L. Smeltzer. She is survived by: her sons, Troy S. Smeltzer (Tina) of Front Royal and Mark L. Smeltzer (Michelle) of Front Royal; and her grandchildren, Matthew Smeltzer (Amy) and Dakota Smeltzer Santana (David).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Maddox Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Front Royal, VA 22630). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Prospect Hill Cemetery (200 W Prospect St, Front Royal, VA 22630).
