It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Virginia Williams of Front Royal, Virginia, born in Shenandoah, Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Bennett and Susie Bennett of Front Royal, Virginia.; her husband Harold "Doug" Williams; her son Timmy Ray Cook; and her brother Elwood "Woody" Bennett.

She is survived by : her daughter Lorraine "Buffy" Showers (Jamie) of Front Royal; her grandchildren, Makenzie Mauck (Ryan) of Strasburg, Landon Showers of Front Royal and Jeremy Cook of Front Royal; her great grandchildren, Leo Mauck of Strasburg and Brylee Mauck of Strasburg; her siblings, Dorothy Smelser (Lynwood) of Front and Oscar "Junior" Bennett (Sherrie) of Cross Junction; and her sister-in-law Norma Jean Settle.
